We measure

We come to you, measure every room and check what is under the old floor. Free, and about an hour.

We prep

Old floor out, subfloor leveled and swept clean. This is what makes the new floor sit flat and stay flat.

Offices, shops, schools, clinics, rentals. Tell us when you can hand the space over and we work to that, nights and weekends included if that is what it takes. Carpet tile, VCT and glue down vinyl in volume, with tight seams.

Anyone can lay a plank in the middle of a room. Doorways, thresholds, stair noses and the last row against the wall are what make a floor look cheap or look right. That is where we spend the extra time.

What changes the price.

Nothing on your quote should surprise you later, so here is what moves it. We check all of this when we measure and put it on the page before you sign anything.

AHow much old floor has to come out, and where it goes after.
BHow flat your subfloor is. Leveling is the cost most quotes leave off.
CHow many rooms, doorways and thresholds the floor has to cross.
DStairs. They take the longest and they are priced on their own.
EWhether we move the furniture or you do.
FTrim, transitions and quarter round, which we price in, not after.

Common questions.

Yes. We measure, look at the subfloor and hand you a number. No charge, no obligation to book.

Nothing, and that is the whole point. Tear out, disposal, subfloor leveling, transitions and trim are priced up front. Quotes that leave those off are the ones that grow by thousands halfway through.

Most single rooms are one to two days. A full floor of a house is usually three to five. You get the dates before we start and we hold them.

We contain the work area and clean up at the end of every day, not just the last one. You get your house back each evening.

Yes, we can. Say so at the measure and it goes on the quote, so it is not a surprise on day one.

We check it at the measure, not after the old floor is already out. If it needs leveling or repair you see that cost before you commit.

Yes. One room, a stair landing, a patch where a leak came through, water damage. Call and ask.

For commercial, yes. That is usually how we do it, so the business does not lose a day.
